I completed my PhD in May 2020 at New York University, working in the laboratory of Dr. Cristina Alberini at the Center for Neural Science. My thesis work focused on understanding the role of insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) in memory formation, using rodent models. This work was published in Neuron in 2023.
I currently work as an Assistant Director in Foundation Relations at Boston University, where I support the science faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences in seeking research funding from private foundations. I was previously a science writer at Massachusetts General Hospital, in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, where I supported researchers in grant and manuscript writing, as well as other forms of external and internal communications for the Division.
